All Blinged out!
Jewelry CAN be a girl's best friend....if its expensive (kidding...?) and you have a good storage system for it. Jewelry boxes don't fly with me. I don't like the look and if it's outta sight, it's outta mind. Here are a few cute alternative ideas for storing your accessories.
This is what I have, I picked up a black version of this cute peice at Jysk a few months ago and love love love it. Most jewelry holders are awkward looking or in the form of a box of some-sort. That wasn't workin for this girl.
Plus, I love the modern-outdoorsy look.

I like this idea, but it looks like it might take more precision than you would first think. Tying up little wire is never easy. This may come AFTER I try one of the picture frame holders seen below...
Clink the link for a tutorial though!

Cute!! Especially for a little girl's room.

I am DEFINATELY
going to try this at home!

This is another take on the above, and I like this one alot more to be honest, maybe its the purple being pulled from the back wall to match it up, or the modern effect of the silver hooks...

Take a Picture, It lasts Longer: Picture Frame Ideas
I want to try this! It looks great, and if you have light enough frames, it shouldn't need to much magnet strength. My only advice would be to obviously not use the glass covers in the frames. We dont need a shattered glass mess on the kitchen floor.
P.s. How awesome is that fridge??

This is a very classy and efficient way to store your jewellery. If your like me, its outta sight, outta mind. Jewellery boxes are great, but not practical for me.
Plus, it doubles as a great decor piece.

Verrry cute idea. Picture frames as key/hook holders. This gives you the opportunity to use your wall space wisely and add a pop of colour to your room.

This is a great idea for holidays like Xmas or Halloween (as in the picture) but it could also work very well for ordinary everyday use if you use a simple colour and tray bottom.

Dirt Road Decor: Real Teal Tray and Frame
This is one of the new projects I've been dreaming of doing for a while now, and finally booted myself to get it done.
I thought upcycling furniture and random decor pieces was this new fad I was into; but a recent trip to my parents, rummaging through the basement made me realize I've been doing this for almost a decade now. Tables, shelves, picture frames, dressers....I was one creative kid. I'm glad I'm trying to find that again. Its just so satisfying to be creative...and cheap!
So here is my adult life project #1.. and breakfast/coffee tray I got at ValueVillage about 5 years ago when I first moved to the city for University.
It was a simple project: clean, sand, paint. But the result was awesome. The pop of colour adds so much. It looks a lot better refurbished on my coffee table than it did old and ugly in my storage room.
My memory fails me on what paint brand I used, but the colour was 'Real Teal' and I am now in love with it....so in love that I used it to do a complimenting photo frame.
