Country Song Lyrics and Quotes

I don't know about you, but I would go craaaaazy without music in my day. My country music keeps me sane and happy. The highlight of my week is if I catch the new songs at the bottom of the weekend countdown.

A big part of it is the lyrics. If I could have any talent at all, I think it would be songwriting... you could throw in singing in there, but that's not too important, Auto Tune and lip synching can fix that, right?

Anyways, here are a few lyrics that have stuck with me:

Well you do what you do and you pay for your sins,
And there’s no such thing as what might’ve Been,
that’s a waste of time; drive you outta your mind
Tim McGraw- Red Ragtop

Living might mean taking chances
but they're worth taking
Loving might be a mistake
but it's worth making
LeAnn Womack- I hope you dance

Homeboy your gonna wish one day you were sittin’ on the gate of a truck by the lake
with your high school flame on one side, ice cold beer on the other
Ain't no shame in a blue collar forty, little house little kids little small town story
Eric Church - Homeboy

Boy, she don't need you and she don't need me
She can do just fine on her own two feet
But she wants a man who wants her to be herself
And she'll never change, don't know how to hide
Her stubborn will or her fightin' side
But you treat her right and she'll love you like no one else
George Straight - How Bout them Cowgirls

Somewhere between midnight and tomorrow
You'll want to be free of your constant sorrow
I'll offer a bed of roses for your bed of nails
You'll be drawn to my perfume, but the whisky will prevail
Lorrie Morgan - Between Midnight and Tomorrow
